Relevance. Issues of liability, the grounds for its occurrence and consequences, occupy a special place in legal science. The responsibility of healthcare system actors always causes controversy and great public interest. Issues of the effectiveness of responsibility (in the area under consideration) at the present stage of development of our state are significant and relevant.

Objective. The goal of the project is a comprehensive study of the effectiveness of legal liability mechanisms in the healthcare system of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account the conceptual developments of legal science, the doctrine of medical law, the requirements of current legislation, the practice of its application and international experience.

Expected results. The final result expected by the members of the research group is the development of the Concept “Healthcare system of the Republic of Kazakhstan: legal vector of development and transformation”

- Publication of 1 (one) article or review in a peer-reviewed scientific publication indexed in the Social Science Citation Index, Arts and Humanities Citation Index and (or) the Web of Science database and (or) having a CiteScore percentile in the Scopus database of at least 35 (thirty five),

- at least 3 (three) articles and (or) reviews in peer-reviewed foreign and (or) domestic publications recommended by KOKSNVO;

- publication of the textbook: “Medical Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan”;

3- presentation of the Package of methodological recommendations for the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan

- 2 collective monographs
