Representatives of the Caterpillar Foundation visited Alikhan Bokeikhan University

The Caterpillar Foundation was founded in 1952 and promotes projects in the field of sustainable development and environmental protection, ensuring access to education and meeting basic human needs around the world. To date, the Foundation operates in more than 40 countries around the world.

The Head of the Foundation, Asha Varghese and the supervisors of programs in the field of education, environmental protection and human capital development got acquainted with the projects of Alikhan Bokeikhan University on the implementation of sustainable development objectives, including in the field of inclusive education, digitalization and the implementation of the social mission of the university.
The Vice-Rectors of the university and leading specialists of the Abai IT-Valley Technocluster and the ABU Institute for Advanced Training and Additional Training have attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the University authorities expressed readiness for fruitful cooperation with the Foundation for the implementation of joint educational programs and projects aimed at the development of socio-economic potential and human capital in the Abai region.
