ABU took part in International Staff Week in Bialystok (Poland)

From May 26 to 30, 2025, Akbota Zholdykhanova, Senior Specialist of the Department of International Cooperation, took part in International Staff Week organized by the University of Biaystok (UwB) as part of the Erasmus+ program.

The event brought together representatives of international offices from UwB’s partner universities in Georgia, Montenegro, Vietnam, Taiwan, Kosovo, Ukraine, and Kyrgyzstan. The program included presentations, thematic sessions, meetings with UwB faculty and administrative staff, and discussions on key issues in international cooperation, Erasmus+ project implementation, and strategic partnerships.

Participants also visited the branch of the University of Bialystok in Vilnius (Lithuania) and got acquainted with the organization of academic processes and international activities of one of the largest universities in the Podlasie region.

International Staff Week served as an effective platform for networking, experience exchange, and presenting our university to international partners. Preliminary agreements on cooperation were reached with several universities, which will potentially lead to the establishment of new partnerships.

Such initiatives contribute to strengthening international ties, expanding opportunities for student and faculty academic mobility, and opening new directions for institutional cooperation on an international level.
