ABU in Spain: International Collaboration and Sustainable Development

The staff of Alikhan Bokeikhan University are participating in the Erasmus+ CirculEC project training, taking place from March 24 to March 27, 2025, at one of the oldest universities in Europe and the world — the University of Santiago de Compostela (founded in 1495, ranked 651–660 in QS WUR 2025 and 601–800 in THE WUR 2025).

♻️ During the training, participants are learning about circular economy principles, sustainable entrepreneurship, and eco-friendly business models.

The event gathers a delegation from 11 universities across Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan, all involved in the project funded by the Erasmus+ CBHE program of the European Commission.

🤝 In 2024, a memorandum of understanding was signed between ABU and USC, strengthening bilateral cooperation in academic mobility, research, and student exchange.
