Youth Business Project Competition

The traditional competition of youth business projects organized by the ABU International Business School took place at Alikhan Bokeikhan University.

The competition was attended by students of grades 10-11 in Semey schools. More than 50 business projects were submitted for consideration by the competition committee. Following a thorough review, 6 of them were admitted to public protection at the final stage of the competition.

The current competition was held in two directions: "Innovative business project" and "Social business project".

The students presented various business projects to the competition jury, including educational start-ups, environmental initiatives and social projects aimed at supporting the aspirations of socialization and self-improvement of young people.

A competitive jury consisting of the rector of the University Koichubayev A.S., the director of the ABU International Business School, Professor Blagovev V., vice-rectors and the head of the Department of Business and Management of the university selected the worthy winner and prize-winners of the youth competition.

The winner of the competition was Meiramkhanova Zere, a student of the KSU "Economic Lyceum" with the social business project "Rise.Community". She received a diploma of the winner of the competition and monetary incentives in the amount of 100,000 tenge from the Foundation of the President of the University, Professor Shyryn Kurmanbayeva.

The 2nd place and a cash prize of 70,000 tenge were awarded to students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Semey, Hamitkhanova Ayaulym and Bolatov Madi for the innovative business project "The game on the history of Kazakhstan "Uly dala Zholy".

Students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Semey, Askar Akezhan and Suleymen Gulim, were also awarded 3 places and a prize of 50,000 tenge for the innovative DentalConnect business project.

Smailova Aruzhan, a student of the Abai IT School, was awarded in the nomination "The Best socially oriented Project" for the project "TheyAre". And in the nomination "The Best tourist project", students of the same school Kaisar Dayyrbekov and Alzhan Yerzhanyly were awarded for the project "Explore Kazakhstan". 

A student of Secondary school No. 35 was awarded in the nomination "The best applied product". Semey Parasatova Nurbalym for the project "Color correctors"
