Academic mobility abroad in the spring semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.

Dear ABU students!

The International Cooperation Department of Alikhan Bokeikhan University announces the opening of applications for participation in the selection competition for students for academic mobility in the spring semester of the 2024-2025 academic year.

Students in their 2nd and 3rd years from all majors who wish to study in their educational programs at universities in both distant and near foreign countries, with instruction in English, Turkish, and Russian, are eligible to participate in the competition.

Students can participate in the competition for academic mobility programs at foreign universities under general conditions—all expenses for participation in the academic mobility program will be borne by the students themselves.

Requirements for Candidates:

High academic performance—GPA of 2.80 and above;

Achievements in educational and scientific activities (verified by diplomas, certificates, etc.);

Proficiency in English at the B2 level or higher, confirmed by a relevant certificate or exam results from the International Cooperation Department of ABU (for studies at universities in Europe).

The competition will be held in two stages:

Stage 1 – Passing the selection process at the faculty. Candidates must submit the required documents to their faculty coordinator according to the provided list. Document submission at the faculty from November 4 to November 17, 2024.

The selection of candidates is carried out by the Selection Committee in accordance with the "Rules for Sending Students for Study Abroad, Including Within the Framework of Academic Mobility," approved by the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 19, 2008, No. 613.
