Semester Study at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay

Dear students of Alikhan Bokeikhan University!

We are pleased to announce that our partner university, IIT Bombay, is accepting applications for the Spring semester (January 1, 2025 – April 30, 2025). The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay is India’s leading technical university, known for its commitment to advanced research and rich cultural heritage. The institute ranks first among Indian universities (#149 in QS World and #40 in QS Asia: 2024).

Students in their 2nd and 3rd years of the following educational programs are eligible to participate in the academic mobility program at IIT Bombay:

•   6B06103 “Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain Engineering”

•   6B06102 “Information Systems”

•   6B04116 “Economics”

•   6B04118 “Finance”

•   6B06124 “Computer Engineering and Software”

•   6B01509 “Chemistry-Biology”

•   6B05121 “Biotechnology”

•   6B01708 “English Language with an additional study of a second foreign language (German, Turkish)”

Requirements:

1. Proficiency in English (B2 or higher), with a language certificate preferred (TOEFL – at least 580 points, IELTS – overall: 6.5, Duolingo – at least 115)

2. High academic performance (GPA above 3.0)

*If you do not have an English language certificate, you can apply for an interview at the Department of International Cooperation.

8.  Two recommendation letters from faculty

9.  Language proficiency certificate (if available)

10. Copy of passport
