International competition of essays in English

The Center for Multilingual Education of Alikhan Bokeikhan University invites all interested students of ABU and partner universities, as well as school pupils of 10^th – 11^th grades to participate in the International competition of student essays in English, which is held as part of the celebration of Nauryz - the spring festival.

Important deadlines:

The competition will be held in a remote format from February 15, 2022 to March 15, 2022;
Acceptance of applications and essays: until March 10, 2022;
Summing up the results of the competition: March 15, 2022.

Terms of the competition:

Students of "Alikhan Bokeikhan University" and partner universities of all courses and educational programs, as well as school pupils of 10^th – 11^th grades can take part in the Competition;
Participation in the Competition is possible only individually (not team);
Not more than one work (Essay) is accepted from one author;
Competition works (Essay) are submitted in English in electronic form (doc, docx format).

Essay themes:

“My student life”
“My future profession”
“My university”
“Education in our life”
“Studying abroad: student exchange programs”
“English as an international language”

Awarding of participants:

All participants of the competition will be given certificates for participation;
The winners of the competition are awarded I, II, III degree diplomas and memorable prizes.
