Summary
The Department of Civil Law Disciplines is one of the strongest departments of Alikhan Bokeikhan University due to its teaching staff who are constantly engaged in scientific research, applying innovations in the educational process, and their creative approach to their work as well. There is a favourable atmosphere at the department where each teacher feels more like a part of the family than just an employee. Scientific Work
The department’s staff actively makes scientific research covering a wide range of private law regulation issues. The focus is on both theoretical and practical aspects of civil law which allows students not only to better understand legal mechanisms but also to prepare for solving current issues they may encounter in legal practice.

The department has formed a school of medical law, teachers are constantly improving their skills and engaged in professional development. They take courses related to innovative technologies in education and the development of artificial intelligence.

The department has created all necessary conditions for active scientific work. Regular research is conducted within the framework of priority scientific programs and projects, which deepens knowledge in the field of private law relations and stimulates the development of new scientific directions. These efforts are aimed at maintaining a high level of scientific activity and integrating the educational process with current research in law, thereby enhancing the quality of specialist training.
Educational Work
The department hosts the scientific research club "Optimus," under the guidance of the senior lecturer of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines, Master of Law Raimbekova Zh.E. Club members participate in republican and international competitions, Olympiads, and conferences, which fosters scientific activity and strengthens students' connections with the scientific community.
Students feel like advocates of the culture of knowledge, with their research extending beyond legal disciplines; for instance, 70% of club participants attended a seminar-training organized by FAMS.
