Brief information
The Department of criminal law disciplines is engaged in training Bachelor's specialists in educational programs in the field of law enforcement, investigative and prosecutor activities. Training sessions are conducted by candidates of law, PhD Doctors, and specialists with practical experience are involved in giving lectures.

Material and technical base
At the Department of criminal law disciplines there are specialized offices and the material and technical base:
Laboratory of pre-trial investigation of criminal cases - a specialized laboratory equipped for conducting classes in subjects that provide for conducting forensic research in the framework of pre-trial proceedings in criminal cases and contribute to the formation of professional skills and abilities of students in conducting certain types of operational and investigative actions, forensic and scientific research;
Forensic laboratory The Faculty of law was created in order to strengthen the practical staff within the framework of the implementation of the educational process.
The forensic laboratory is equipped with educational and visual stands and storefronts in the Departments of Criminalistics: fingerprint, footprints and shoe prints, explosive devices and explosives, weapons, explosive techniques, handwritten techniques, photographic equipment, etc. on the basis of the laboratory, students of the Faculty of law have the opportunity to engage in research work and perform experimental tasks in criminalistics and Forensic Medicine;
Court session hall. The Reading Room of the court sessions is equipped with all modern technical means: a computer for the presiding judge and a laptop for the secretary of the court session, a multimedia system for presenting audio and video evidence (TV, audio recorders).

Educational work
At the Department of criminal law disciplines there is a student scientific circle "young processualist". The total number of students participating in the circle is 25 people, the main part of which is made up of first-year students.
Every year, the Faculty of law, in particular, the Department of criminal law disciplines, conducts an educational and indicative trial. Students of 1-4 courses, Kazakh and Russian departments take part in the process.
In addition to lawsuits, debate tournaments are held in which students of all courses and departments participate.
