Сompetition of youth business projects - 2025

Alikhan Bokeikhan University International Business School invites interested students of secondary schools in Semey to take part in the annual competition of youth business projects, which will be held:

Stage 1: preliminary examination of projects - from February 3 to 14, 2025.

Stage 2: public defense of projects - February 18, 2025.

This competition is held as part of the "Business for Youth" project, which is aimed at developing entrepreneurial skills and forming business thinking among young people.

Students in grades 10-11 can take part in the competition. The conditions for participation in the contest and requirements for business projects are presented in the Contest Rules.

The winners of the competition will be awarded cash prizes in the amounts of:

1 place - 100,000 tenge;

2nd place – 70,000 tenge;

3rd place – 50,000 tenge.

Applications for participation in the business project competition are submitted by the participants no later than 3 February, in electronic form to the following address: oms_abu@mail.ru. In the subject of the letter, specify "Business project for the competition from (full name and school number)"

Registration form:

• The name of the business project/startup
• The direction of the business project/startup
• Full name of the team members
• Place of study, school
• Project manager
• Contact phone number, e-mail address

The explanatory note of the project should include the purpose of the business project, its relevance, main ideas, a brief description of the implementation mechanism, feasibility study (FS) and the expected result of the project, as well as the results of the project implementation, if any. The volume of the explanatory note should not exceed 15-18 pages. Projects without feasibility studies are not allowed to participate in the competition. 

The application and explanatory note should be submitted in Russian or English, as the competition committee includes international experts.
