Kayshatayeva Assel Kuandykovna was born on August 06, 1980 in Semey. He graduated with honors from the Semipalatinsk Economic Lyceum, and graduated with honors from the Kazakh State Law Academy in Almaty in 2001. 

In 2007, she completed postgraduate studies at the Kazgiu Research Institute of Private Law with a degree in 12.00.03 – "Civil Law, family Law, business law, Private International Law, civil procedure, international commercial arbitration." In 2010, she defended her PhD thesis on "Civil law protection of related rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan." 

He has been working in the higher education system since 2001, with 24 years of teaching experience. Since graduating from the university, Assel Kuandykova's professional activity has been connected with the educational institution "Alikhan Bokeikhan University", where she went through all stages of professional growth: she worked as an intern, teacher, senior lecturer, research teacher, vice-rector. 

In 2012, Kaishatayeva A. K. was appointed Vice-rector for Strategic Development and Science of the Kazakh Humanitarian and Legal Innovation University (Semey), in 2015 Vice-rector for Science and International Cooperation of the Kazakh Humanitarian and Legal Innovation University (Semey), in 2021 Vice-rector for Strategic Development and Science of Alikhan Bokeikhan University renamed (Semey).

Since 2019, he has been a permanent member and academic secretary of the Dissertation Council in the field of law at Alikhan Bokeikhan University (Semey).

In 2014, she completed a research internship at the University of Omaha (Nebraska, USA) under the international Professional development program Bolashak. In 2015, she completed an internship at the K. Ohridsky University (Sofia, Bulgaria), and also in the same year she lectured undergraduates at the Synjian University School of Law (China).

Asel Kuandykovna has deep knowledge in her field, is a creative and creative person, a leader with a broad strategic vision.

Asel Kuandykovna has been continuously engaged in scientific and educational work for more than twenty years.  Author of more than 60 scientific and educational works, including 6 monographs, 2 textbooks, 14 scientific articles discussed in journals from the list recommended by the Committee, 6 scientific articles in peer-reviewed international journals and scientific conferences in Scopus and Web of Science databases, covered in journals and collections of leading universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I have seen near and far abroad. He is the author of a number of electronic educational and teaching aids. 

         From 2023 to 2025, he was the head of the grant research project "Digital Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan: development of legal mechanisms for expanding the content of legal personality in the era of digital transformation (in the context of private legal relations)" (AP19676064), funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
