International cooperation with the Technical University - Sofia (Republic of Bulgaria)

On April 13, a round table was held at the Technical University of Sofia, in the Center of the Kazakh language, culture and exchange of scientific and technical information named after Abai. The round table with the participation of the rector of TU-Sofia Professor Kralov I., vice-rector for international cooperation of Alikhan Bokeikhan University E. Shustova, as well as colleagues from TUS.

A wide range of issues of further development of cooperation between our universities was discussed.

The positive experience of implementing academic mobility programs for students and faculty in the pre-pandemic period (more than 80 students and faculty), as well as holding joint online events in the past two years, allows us to highly evaluate the potential of academic and scientific cooperation in the future.

It is worth noting that the Center of the Kazakh language, culture and exchange of scientific and technical information - our foreign representation on the basis of the Technical University - Sofia (Republic of Bulgaria) was opened in September 2018. The main purpose of which is to popularize the Kazakh language, literature, cultural and spiritual values of the Kazakh people, as well as promoting research activities of the two universities, the implementation of joint research projects, research internships for the teaching staff, bachelor, master and doctoral students of Kazakhstan and foreign universities.
