International Practical Seminar "Management of International Projects"

ALIKHAN BOKEIKHAN UNIVERSITY actively develops scientific and academic cooperation with universities in Bulgaria. Sofia Technical University, one of the largest state universities in Bulgaria, is a long-standing strategic partner with which a large number of joint events are held annually, academic mobility programs are implemented.

Thus, on November 23-26, 2021, an international practical seminar "Management of international projects" was held, which was organized by the Department of International Cooperation of ABU together with the Sofia Technical University in online mode.

The speaker of the program was Dimitrov Lubomir Ivanov, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Vice-Rector for Academic Work and International Cooperation of Sofia Technical University.

The seminar program included the following questions: methodology of Erasmus + international projects, the basic concepts and features inherent in international grant projects were highlighted. The speaker paid special attention to the difficulties that arise when creating consortia of participating universities and initiating applications for participation in these projects. In addition, Professor Dimitrov Lubomir demonstrated the stages of preparation of Erasmus+ projects, preparation of applications for participation, the specifics of the formation of the budget part of grant projects, as well as the peculiarities of managing these projects and compiling reports on the basis of specific examples.

The program was attended by interested teachers, employees of academic services and international offices of universities not only from Kazakhstan, but also from Russia and Uzbekistan.
